Funding for Home Access Program

Through the HAP, SILCGA is working to fund home retrofitting so that low-income individuals with disabilities can safely navigate their homes. 

In our 2022 Needs Assessment Survey, 82.76% said they or someone they knew needed housing or home modification.

State funding of $500K to the Department of Community Affairs will allow the Centers to assist approx. 60 constituents per year with their home modification needs such as ramps & bathroom modifications.
